Photographs from Harrison Brown, a freelance journalist who wrote for several newspapers between the World Wars and worked as a broadcaster for the BBC before moving to Hornby Island, British Columbia in 1937. He took over 600 photographs during an extensive trip through Scandinavia, the USSR, Japan, Korea, and China in 1936-37. This collection features some of the photographs Brown took in China.
