Provides economic and financial time series data spanning centuries in many cases. The publisher digitizes archival data and combines it with current data to create unbroken time series covering most countries. SFU's subscription includes only the GFDatabase and the Events in Time modules, both listed on the left side of the entry screen.

Registration: GFDatabase requires individual registration: connect to the database via the SFU Library, select “Register,” then “Academic” to get to a registration form.
To be cancelled effective December 31, 2023. Access to this database will be removed in January 2024.
Download limits: GFDatabase limits the number of time series each person can download per day (300). Track your activity level by clicking on Account Info within the database. Be sure to review your selections carefully before downloading them. Note that charting a series within the interface does not count against your download limit.
