Provides economic and financial time series data spanning centuries in many cases. The publisher digitizes archival data and combines it with current data to create unbroken time series covering most countries. SFU's subscription includes only the GFDatabase and the Events in Time modules, both listed on the left side of the entry screen.
Restricted to current SFU students, faculty and staff with a valid SFU ID and password.
Registration: GFDatabase requires individual registration: connect to the database via the SFU Library, select “Register,” then “Academic” to get to a registration form.
Feedback: Our current subscription expires on Dec. 31, 2021. Share your opinions to help us make an informed decision before renewing it: email Mark Bodnar firstname.lastname@example.org
Download limits: GFDatabase limits the number of time series each person can download per day (300). Track your activity level by clicking on Account Info within the database. Be sure to review your selections carefully before downloading them. Note that charting a series within the interface does not count against your download limit. If you anticipate needing to exceed the limits for a research project, contact email@example.com
