S&P ESG Scores and Trucost Environmental Data & Climate Analytics (WRDS)
S&P ESG Scores provide ratings and metrics that show how well a company performs across specific ESG dimensions, while Trucost Environmental Data & Climate Analytics offer insights into environmental costs, impacts, and risks, including indicators of physical climate-change risk, carbon pricing risk analysis, and assessments of Paris Agreement alignment. Both datasets cover a broad range of publicly listed companies worldwide, with start dates that vary by topic and company.A one-year subscription to this dataset has been made possible through an individual Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada research grant of Dr. Karel Hrazdil. Dr. Hrazdil is willing to collaborate with different faculty members on research projects that use this data. Access to this dataset expires on December 30, 2026.
